I tend to agree because a friend is a pilot (recent promotion) with EK and flies 777s out of DXB. He told me he flies all versions and does cargo as well as pax. He mentioned flying is flying and once he was certified on the 777 he could fly all versions that EK had.

I suspect BA is the same.
