Looks like food will be served sooner into the flight with a snack and drinks/free cocktail served prior to arrival. Breakfast seems to be a light meal on flights before 10am and then on flights after 10am a full meal (chicken, veg, real silverware etc...) and free wine is served. Red-eyes see the loss of meals, but who really eats at 10pm-1am anyhow? True, pillows and blankets are also gone from all domestic flights accept red-eyes and JFK but there is an upgraded option for purchase if you need a blanket. Other tidbits I noticed... headsets are now free, digiplayers and food can be pre ordered in the departure lounge of which the menu has also changed (kalua pork sandwich, Asian chicken salad, prawns with noodles). In the end I think HA is giving the customers what they really value and raising the bar again in onboard service to Hawaii. Maika'i
