The only solution I was able to find around it (after logging in, out and refresh, and again) was to do 'hard reset' on the blackberry. I went back to the desktop and did reinstallation of all. This time, it seems that I see only flights I have purchased, and no requests to check in for flights I don't have.
On the other hand, it does show a flight I refunded (and does not show on delta.com). So, I guess it asks me to consider changing my mind.

Have you ever let a friend log into the iPhone app on your iPhone? I let a friend log into the app on my iPad one day to check his spot on the upgrade list, and since then I keep getting alerts to check in for his flights even though he logged out and I logged in. It seems that it cached all of his ticketed flights into the alerts system or something.
