I have heard of people getting AA giftcards (4 in $50 increments) and then submitting the costs towards the $200 airline incidentals. I was wondering if anyone has used these towards Southwest giftcards. AA fares are absurd from where I live (MSP shoutout!) while SW fares are very reasonably priced. Thanks.
Can you explain this incidentals to me? Does it mean $200 towards any airline purchase with card or some sort of "delay that resulted in overnight stay and I had to pay" thing?
