Sounds like Asian celebs. Last year, I saw Ashanti at the LAX SC and informed them who she was, they immediately called a red-coat and she and her friend was escorted to her next flight by a DL staff. But it was funny that the SC staff did not recognize her.
i guess some of those SC agents at LAX are not the right peeps for the job, being that LAX serves the Hollywood crowd. Hugh Jackman checked in once and the SC agent had 0 clue who he was....lol...till some ladies approached him for an autograph, did she then say "is he a celeb??"
now JFK is on another level with the VIP/BE Concierge service. I once saw Neyo and his entourage bypass the check-in counter. Their boarding passes & bag tags were printed pre-arrival at the airport. Redcoat walked them straight from the airport doors to the front of the TSA screening machine...I bet some KMs & DMs were mad as hell
They were on the JFK-ATL flight and also got a cleared out area in the T2 SC as well...gotta be nice to be a young singer/songwriter/music producer/record label exec. ^
