I've never had power or WiFi problems except for the GoGo system being at capacity during the period when it was free.
I've never had mainline FAs on a USA legacy carrier be anything but very serious about safety and doing the demonstration. This should be reported, as well as the failure to serve the scheduled breakfast or even provide water bottles as a pre-departure beverage. I assume that if there had been a catering issue, this would have been revealed with an apology when you asked and were just offered the snack basket.
