The 3.7cents/mile point makes sence only when you are applying it to spending money for nothing. All said and done it was actually closer to 5cents/mile; I spent $453.64 for items retailing over $1,200.00. There was no better price for the books anywhere on the internet and Barnes and Noble and ClickRewards wanted to give me free airmiles for buying the books I wanted at the cheapest price available? Great deal. Couldn't get a better price on the software anywhere, and they wanted to throw in free airmiles? I can use my $750cash savings on flights or whatever I want. JawsII, are you actually spending even one penny on something you don't want for an airmile? Or are you spending even one penny more on something you do want to get an airmile? I am not that needy for airmiles yet. . . I always search for the best buy cash wise and take the airmiles as freebies.
