Looking quickly at the LX timetable my typical flights from ZRH would be:

SQ345 SIN 11:45
LX08 ORD 12:55
LX169 NRT 13:00
LX40 LAX 13:10

Thus I would probably not be bothered much by morning traffic.

What about evening traffic congestion in ZRH driving to these flights (assuming I plan to arrive at ZRH about 1.5/2 hours before departure)?

LX18 JFK 17:30
LX138 HKG 22:45

If I need to go to ICN, it seems I should go ex Frankfurt, because I will need to connect in FRA or MUC anyway (or does OZ fly to ZRH?).

And how does one best get to CAN on *A now that LH has abandoned the route and it is not an LX destination, either?

Overall the preponderance of thought on this thread seems to favor ZRH as a nicer airport experience. So I will try it for a while. However, for at least some of my destinations FRA seems to be required. I suppose I am lucky I have the choice.
