1 Night Stay
Rather than start a new thread for just a 1 night stay. I will add a recent experience.
Stayed 1 night on a LNF rate (see that thread for rate information) with the cheapest rate. I am currently gold, so I saw before hand I had been upgraded to a Club Room. I ended up being on the 19th floor with a water view, could see the landings at Logan very nicely from the window.
Room had a chaise lounge by the window which was a nice touch, 1 bathrobe in closet, small refrigerator and safe in room, network/tv cables in a pouch in the closet for the tv/internet board. The bathroom was nice with the shower being subway tiles.
I did not go to the lounge, but hung out at the bar in the restaurant for a while and had a good talk with the bartender (there was live jazz in the lobby bar and it was just too loud). Everybody I ran into was nice and greeted you. Valet parking is $44 per day which may seem steep, but is not for hotels in Boston, pretty average. Bill was correct on checkout.
While the Seaport area has changed dramatically and there are a lot more things to do, it is still a hike into town (18-20 brisk walk to financial district). I prefer the Courtyard over in Copley Square. Just a different vibe and your in the city closer to the action.
Any questions, please let me know. Thanks.
