Your status is irrelevant when travelling in F. F trumps everything (Premier helps of course) regardless if it is a redemption or revenue ticket. You First gave you the wrong information.

Rumour has it that the You First office (including GGL) have lots of newbies working, hence there are bound to be some mishaps. Which also explains why one person could fix stuff instantly (experienced).
