The G37 was definitely tagged and showed on my receipt as a G...maybe a mistake? To be honest, I think that a G37 is a good premium vehicle and not really prestigious if you ask me - kind of like the Volvo S60, although I know that's a prestige. I actually had a luxury booked and it was a Town Car which I took a pass on so they downgraded the reservation. I Have rented all of the infiniti line of Hertz cars and only have seen one G37 in my travels.
You sure it was G and not G4? Actually now that I think about it, it could be a sub-division of premium (sort of like the D4 Mustang is a cheap upsell from D, or F6 (Camry) from F). Although its ACRISS code is XSAR which doesn't have "premium" anywhere in it (XSAR = special sport automatic unspecified fuel, A/C), and it's reservable in the Prestige Collection. I'm leaning towards it being a mistake but that's the coolest mistake I've ever seen
