Connecting in BKK to TG or SIN with MI would be your best option right now I think. If (when?) BA starts KUL service, that would be even better (cheaper) via AirAsia.

If you're interested in exotic routings, ANA is starting 3 weekly all business class 737 service NRT-RGN sometime soon...
