This is just one more act in a series of recent and less recent policy changes, constantly deteriorating Matmid's value, including:

• Repeatedly increasing the cost in points of upgrades
• Limiting upgrades to the most expensive ticketing class
• Raising the cost of tickets which are entitled to full points accrual, while reducing the points accrued by normal fare tickets
• Outrageous change of baggage allowance policy

They tried to do it 11 years ago. We got organised, we bombarded El Al with protests, we threatened to stop flying with them - and they stepped back.

It's in our hands. We can stop them!
