Do other flyertalkers automatically double-check availability right after they book? Should we?
I believed my use of the past tense to determine the fare difference from H to Q was clear enough, but thanks for at least engaging my thread. It takes 3 key strokes for me to rebook a PNR in a lower inventory so we automatically do it before ticketing (and our systems do it behind the scenes when we are sleeping). I've noticed it twice more on transborder route when confirming a PNR in a certain class seems to open up the lower class instantly. Have not noticed it domestically yet.
