What items do you hoard while traveling?

Amenity kits? Lotion? Shampoos? ... the unthinkable, Towels? Or how about a hair dryer with your stay?

Closing my folio this morning after a stay in NYC I realized I tend to hoard (the kind way of saying steal) items from hotels, trains, planes, et al. It never occurred to me until now how much crap I've "hoarded through my travels".

I open my briefcase, in it alone: 14 sets of room keys: 4 from various stays at the Parc 55 San Francisco, 2 from the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo, 1 from Le Meridien San Franciscio, 2 from the Hilton Checkers LA, 1 from the Standard Downtown LA (God, what a dump), 1 from a hotel in Hong Kong, another from a miserable stay in 2010 from the Hyatt Savannah (How's that still in there????), and 2 more from the Una Hotel Roma.

While I never realized that I always took keys until now, I don't think I can stop! Are these some sort of security blanket for road warriors?

I arrive home, there are 32 red Delta amenity kits, 4 from Air France, 1 from Emirates, and quite a few from the old Continental days. I have zero space for more, but I refuse to throw these..or anything, away. Don't get me started on toiletries...

Also, a continental 739 safety card. Not cool. Clearly, it's getting out of hand.

With this in mind, a few questions:
1. What items do you tend to hoard through your travels?
2. Do I have a problem?
3. Is there any guilt or shame you feel when packing these goodies away?
4. What's your trophy piece? Mine is a wine glass from the Marriott Marquis that somehow made it into my luggage after a long night of drinking. How it didn't shatter in my luggage is quite the feat.
