Although IAG own both BA and IB, they are run as two seperate businesses and looking at the IAG half year results you can understand why WW doesn't want to integrate them!

BA made a profit of €13m and IB made a loss of €263m! Any further integration would muddy the water and hide any restructuring costs for IB.
