Parents will be in Kingsport, so I will mostly stay there unless rates are significantly cheaper elsewhere. The Bristol Hampton Inn always seems to be on the high side, maybe that's due to its location right next to I-81.
For this first trip, I'm driving to Kingsport to fly out of TRI, so pretty much any of the area Hiltons are about equidistant.
It's a shame that the DT has a lounge, as that means continental breakfast. Most of the time I'm at a DT without a lounge, and that often means a hot breakfast.
