Selling Aeroplan Miles?
Has anyone actually got "burned" by AP/AE for selling miles?

I have a friend who has no use for his miles and a company has offered to buy them at 1.3 cents per mile.

It seems that they buy all the miles and then transfer in miles from Amex/Worldpoint/SPG etc that others have sold them so they have enough to buy a few J seats and they redeem for rewards and sell them as discounted business seats.

I wouldn't risk loosing my status, but for an AE peon - maybe it is worth the risk?
Has anyone tried this and had their account closed?
The company buying has assured my friend that they have done this many times without any reprecussions.
