My experience is that the staff is not especially friendly.
I take the L in, but not late at night, but the suggestion below is a good one: take a cab from the nearest station to your hotel.
I've read in the other thread that Gold's breakfast bennie is continental, or 25% the menu. Anyone know how much a regular breakfast goes for there? Trying to figure out whether to even worry about breakfast there or just take the points.
