Train journeys between Prague --> Vienna --> Munich --> Zurich/Geneva would have been far better with a few other nearby cities if it's insufficient.

Porto, Barcelona, Athens, Istanbul and Stockholm are way too far off. I believe that anywhere you can't take a train to (unless it's intercontinental) = too far.

There are other great cities in the area: Budapest, Berlin, or even the north of Italy.
