When did you stop working for Aerolineas...? Im sure you must have many stories to tell...
I agree that AR is the last resort for travel, I myself avoid them like the pest.
Having said this, Im not sure that safety issues are as bad as you post since if this were the case, AR birds would have been banned from operating into US and possibly EU airports and this is not, to date, the case.
Regardless, I agree 200% that the Campora gang is a Cancer for AR and they will ruin whats left of the company... some of the lease contracts on planes that dont fly are a disgrace and would have cost the current management their jobs in most other places. AR is one of the examples of why the K regime is such bad news for Argentina.... lets hope that these bozos lose the next legislative elections and start packing their bags sooner rather than later... I guess hope is the last thing you lose.
I stopped working at Aerolineas Argentinas about 1 year ago. Since La Cámpora has taken over the operations, anybody who does not go to their meetings or join their group they try to push us the long term employees out of the company and with intimidation. They stole my purse from my desk, scratch my car in the garage and many threatening phone calls to my house. I contact a lawyer and he told me he was too afraid to get involve, just let them fire me and I collect severance pay. And that is what happened. I also move to another area because after I got fired every day in the morning I would find garbage in the front of my door, even dead birds. So I move about 200 km from Buenos Aires to get away from this gangsters. I am planning to leave Argentina next year, anything this government touch they destroy! I tell you the airplanes are unsafe on Aerolineas, they make false records of maintenance to show the FAA and one day will be a tragedy. I am very sorry to say but be careful of this!
