As an EXP, I would assume the OP knows a lot about flying AA, so it is hard to know what information he is looking for.

I would prefer BA for the option of getting 4 seats next to each other (I think the flight is mostly 747), slightly better onboard service, and a much easier connection in LHR.

OP, unless you have specific questions, reading the dozens on available trip reports is by far the best way to get a general idea of how a flight will be.
