I've dealt with transport Canada on things like ground landing and marker lights ( I work for a company that makes them, used world wide)

They don't really care what people or companies want, they are conservative and require absolute proof before changing any rule or accepting anything.

If FAA/FCC would approve TC would but so far no blanket approval from FAA so not going to happen.

On WiFi the system used has been tested and approved by FAA, Airlines all use the same certified service in the USA
