-1 pet or 10 pets

Does status have any bearing on this deposit? I find it ridiculous to be charged a $100 non refundable deposit for a single night stay.

We stayed at a Res Inn in Boulder CO two months ago and did not pay a deposit, wasn't even mentioned. Last week we stayed at a TPS in Overland Park and were charged the $100 NR Deposit.

I am looking for other thoughts and experiences.
Status does not have any effect on the pet policy...the only MI brands that has a brand wide pet policy is Residence Inn and TownPlace Suites...all other brands leave it up to the local hotel to decide (but there are SOP's if a hotel of another brand decides to allow pets)...in your case both the RI & TPS should have charged the fee (but as with everything individual hotels may grant exceptions at their own descretion)
