I am waiting for my flight from EWR to SFO and it's delayed for 213 mins ... If it was not for the delay, I'd be able to take public transit home - which only costs $8.65. Unfortunately with the delay, I am going to miss the last BART train, and it will be a cab ride for $90.

Any chance I can get UA to reimburse for the cab ride? If yes, how should I approach this to maximize the chance?

Edit: delay increased from 160 to 213 mins...
