Take my situation into example, I am a PC Platinum and I have 354,000 pts. I work for Siemens and all my customer visits are to energy companies that have power plants in remote areas....soooo I always stay in HI, HIX, or CP. IC hotels seem to mainly be in downtown areas of big cities. For example, I am sitting in the HIX in Goldsboro, NC this very moment.

I read so many posts about how great IC ambassador status is, but it sucks because I can never really benefit from it when I travel for business lol

I would imagine I am not the only frequent traveler in this same predicament. I just wish I could fully benefit from the IHG program!

If you were me, would you suggest I stop staying with IHG, completely, since I will never be able to experience the greatness that is Ambassdor? I do also use Marriott as well.

No I won't switch jobs over this...The Energy business is booming ^
