Hmmm.

1. The amount for a Y redemption on AA (ORD-LHR) is $2.50. For the same AA flight on BA, it's $152.50. This is the 'swag' referred to above.

2. No matter what the redemption cost is on Aer Lingus, it seems that BA will charge you whatever their redemption cost is, no?
