I think Velocity Plat is quite ok. I'd probably give it B-. It would be A- if there were the option to upgrade international flights and if they offered a way of getting lifetime status.
Because of these deficits, I will not requalify as Plat and fly with other airlines internationally. But for me the program is worth keeping Gold status.
