Absent any computer glitch, those absurdly low fares out there are absurdly low because the planes have empty seats. Take a route like DFW-STL. Those who wish to efficiently make the trip in the least amount of time will still opt for the non stops. The rest of us will continue to route through LAX-NRT-HKG-FRA-ORD-STL.
Exactly! I thought airlines would be happy to see MRunners filling up the seats. Any seat that is sold for any price (barring a computer glitch) is revenue. If MRunner is taking that seat just for MR, airline's program is working as expected and they must be really proud of themselves that they devised such a program which gets them revenue for seat which would have gone vacant. Airline frowning on MRunners is like Starbucks frowning on customers because they are visiting them frequently to buy coffee because they get a free coffee after every 15 cup bought!!!
