I must be missing something when it comes to concealing the fact we are taking a mileage run. I would think the airline would be happy for AANY business. If I were them, I'd PROMOTE the concept as I believe the flying public is completely unaware of them. Absent any computer glitch, those absurdly low fares out there are absurdly low because the planes have empty seats. Take a route like DFW-STL. Those who wish to efficiently make the trip in the least amount of time will still opt for the non stops. The rest of us will continue to route through LAX-NRT-HKG-FRA-ORD-STL.
