To me its not the airline's business to know why I am flying. Possibly in a reroute the TA may ask how flexible you are in change of flight routing but not asking if its a MR. Really, does the clerk at the grocery store ask you how you plan to prepare that chicken you are buying.
Most TAs could really care less why you are flying. The airline posted a fare and you purchased it, end of story.
