I agree that navigation might be a problem. Not sure about the airports you mentioned but we've had to fold up our strollers to get it through security. We usually do what's suggested above. We usually have two lightweight strollers. Each parent has a backpack and we have an extra bag that we hook onto one of the strollers for things we need easy access to: snacks, toys, books etc...
We also gate check our strollers and bring the lightweight ones to make it easy for the airport people.
