Maybe some of these Olympic Officials are in possession of lots of tickets that they were unable to sell on like they usually do.
I am sure that the LOCOG will be able to work out by looking into who were allocated tickets and which we're not used, who is to blame.
Hopefully we will all find out soon.
We, or the athletes don't need to find out who is at fault, by that time, it is too late for them.... The seats need to be filled or almost filled event...

Good for BA. However, I am sure that some of the tickets that they did distribute were not used, or were not used for the entire event. When a ticketed segment is multiple hours in length, it is not surprising that people will not be in their seats for the entire event.
I remember the first world championship event that I went to. I was in my seat for every competitor, from the Hong Kong Team that looked like they had learned the sport last week to the eventual final. By the time I was at my 10th, I was skipping the first hour of almost every competition, and often two hours.
Very good point there... Maybe they, as in the IOC needs to find a solution to the long competitions...
