My mother just called me from LGA. her 6am to ORD cancelled - continuing to PHX to meet her friend then traveling FULL (yes, full) F to SYD. 2 records - 300.00 tkt to PHX upgraded and then a $24K tkt from PHX-SYD. great agent in LGA U Club. Got her last F seat on later flight to ORD, she saved UA $48K as my mother is going for a meeting of a charity she runs and if she can't leave for SYD tonight ( and must pu her friend in PHX) she would have cancelled all and gone home
