I use it religiously and it's accurate within 10 miles.

Another way of doing things, is to use the United website, if they have the exact city pair/routing, since United.com shows exact mileage (.ca shows kilometrage ).

But seriously use the first link!!!

Webflyer shows 6370 miles , which is the same as the great circle thing someone mentioned and only 22 miles off the other one.
