When I called DL yesterday, at that time, they had nothing at all in J, and the agent said she talked to a supervisor and they weren't going to open up J space for me since my original ticket was in Y.

I have actually found nothing at all on DL.dumb when I search on RDU-CDG. I'm mostly looking at the TATL segments, assuming that they might be more flexible on opening up award space between RDU and the gateway city. I don't mind taking one Y flight to get to the gateway city, although I'd rather not take two.

The way I found the PIT-CDG flight was by searching on ATL-CDG. The DL website showed availability ATL-PIT-CDG.

I didn't expect them to do anything regarding AF. But when I look at the J awards RDU-CDG, they all show up for 325K miles.

I found J space on a hop JFK-AMS-CDG (or maybe it was FRA), but even if I could get to JFK (I assume I could) it didn't arrive until 3PM. I'm not hyper-picky about the timing, but Mrs. Redtop is arriving at 5:30PM and we had kind of agreed that I had one or two things I wanted to do that she didn't, so I was going to try to do those the first day before she arrives. (My current routing gets me in at 6AM.)
