Does this mean less questioning @ the gate if connecting at LHR?

If going to the EU, I'd prefer Schengen airports over the UK though. The Schengen europeans don't bombard me with questions at the gate, unlike the flight to the UK, with a Canadian passport. That too when all I was doing was changing planes at LHR on the way home to YYZ.

With so many British people wanting out of the UK, you would think they'd have a clue by now. (just look at the Cdn immigration forums)
