Plenty of Seats Avialble, but no F Award Inventory?
I am looking for F award space on LH from MUC-BOS or on LX from ZRH-BOS on Aug 9th and the flights seem wide open in F, but there is no award inventory.

We're talking less than two weeks from now. Is it likely that LH or LX will release some award seats as the departure date gets closer?

Should I book a ticket for the routing I want for a future date and hope/expect to be able to change?

Is standby allowed on either carrier, as I have a suspicion that F will be available on those flights?
