As the Evening Standard has nothing to do with the Daily Mail anymore and is indeed free to everyone then surely any deal that involves taking both should be able to be renegotiated.
Can anyone remember those ads that briefly appeared on the tube saying 'we're sorry' a little while after that Russian guy (who now also owns the Independent) took over the Standard?
