I just recently stayed in Sheraton Lake Buena Vista as well as Orlando Dolphin. Sheraton has a very good location, many restaurants nearby including Olive Garden and Pizza Hut. The Fedex drop off office open 24 hour is next door.
Very good service. Nice and very friendly front desk and the restaurant staff. Very helpful. The service better than in Dolphin. Very good treatment for SPG Platiniums. I received free breakfast coupons for me and 50% off for the rest of my family. 500 points welcome amenity as well. Was upgraded to a family suite in building 4 on the fourth floor.
Hotel is more like a motel, that is why is a category 2 and you have to remember this when comparing to other locations and selecting it. Nice renovations. Lobby looks great. Swimming pools are very good. They are open until 11 pm which is very nice after your return from the parks. The water slide for kids open till 10 pm. I have not seen coin operated washer and dryers, but it is worth checking with the hotel about that. Paid secured parking. The fee was waived for me as a part of the Platinium benefit. Overall nice stay and good option for Disney Parks if you have a car or are willing to take their hotel bus.
