We were just there earlier this month.
We didn't trust the availability of a Platinum upgrade, so we paid the extra points for the full suite. I believe there are 2 junior suites and 2 full suites per floor, so the inventory is quite limited.
Taxis are fixed price by zone. Airport to/from high rise hotel area is $25USD.
Everyone takes USD. No need to change to Florins. You may get Florins back as change though if you use USD...
