That's not really fair. The UA website is one of the best out there for booking partner awards.
The issue is that in the execution, they have challenges maintaining what they've built.
Agreed ... AA's website can't book most of their oneworld partners, which forces you to pay the phone fee.
At least UA's agents would waive the fee occasionally if the website can't handle it.
