except the Airbus twins. Would I rather it fit long-way, sure... but on these two birds, no dice.
Do I feel bad? No.
Do I fee like buying another $500 bag? No.
Am I glad to see that UA has come up with an inexpensive, seemingly elegant fix to the problem? Of course.
