Not to go too off topic, but handle in first with the back side down or the top side (where the pocket is) down? I will fiddle with it tonight but I always try to be quick in First, which hampers this fiddling...
Hope it works out. Maybe post which rows? My wife has the same bag and we've tried all variations and it just won't fit straight in on an A319/320 due to the extra 1/2" length from the stand (E+ Rows 8-11). I kind of wonder if there's a way to replace the stand with an older part, or make it collapseable. I really wish bag makers would post accurate dimensions.
Looking forward to new bins as they seem like it would fix the issue.
