How do you unlock the car? I keep my keys, wallet, and change in the same pocket. Perhaps if it was my car I'd be able to just reach in and press the right button by feel, but with a rental I have to pull it out and look.

Now if it was some sort of automatic proximity unlock and lock, that could be useful, but I imagine technical and security issues with that.

I'm a high-tech gadget guy in general, and thought the pushbutton start was a really cool idea at first, but the disadvantages outweigh the neat-o factor for me, for a rental at least.
