My question is "how annoying am I likely to be"? Sure, everyone snores a bit, coughs, and dare I say it breaks wind every now and then, but do I have to steel myself for some gentle rousing from the CSD to warn me I'm disturbing the other passengers, or does the noise of the engine manage to drown out most of the noise?
Earlier this year Mrs LoM and I endured what felt like a marathon F trip to BOS. We were in 1A and 1K and Mr Sinus was in 2A. Said individual started snoring before take off and the volume quickly rose beyond pig with a cold levels, through startled rhino and finally settled on regular ongoing volcanic eruptions.
The entire cabin was disturbed and everyone seemed utterly peed off throughout the flight. he might as well have farted like a trombone throughout the entire flight because even that would not have impacted further. He of course was utterly oblivious to this and only stopped as the plane touched down in BOS.
I think if you cannot control your bodily functions you should in courtesy to your fellow passengers do your utmost to remain awake for your entire flight. If you were sat beside me snoring I might succumb to a reflex twitch of my water glass holding hand which could rouse you at 5 minute intervals
