A few months ago, BA changed their catering approach for WT+ so what you had was actually a main course from Club World, that's why it is so different. Glad that you enjoyed it.

It's not allowed and it's a reason why CW passengers don't like that layout, but if the crew didn't stop you then I guess there isn't much to complain about.
