I'm sure others differ, but we really didn't care for the Altima 2-door we got a couple weeks ago for a 1-way to SFO. For some reason, the "Standard" class is filled with these in some places (the 4-door is considered "Full Size", though an Impala has a lot more room).

I took it because it was a short trip, but found that the trunk and rear seat room for the kids was significantly smaller than the 4-door, and has all of the other annoying Altima features (the stupid non-key that you have to find a place for -- too bad there isn't, I don't know, a slot in the dashboard to hold it...). And couldn't get the seat high enough to not feel like I was driving in the turret of a tank.

Got a Ford Fiesta 1-way from SFO, considered Compact; I was apprehensive, but it was actually a nice little car to drive, and seemed to have a bigger trunk and more rear seat room than the 2-door Altima (but I was alone, so couldn't compare real legroom).
