Baggage frustrations... Amsterdam
Hi all,
I arrived in Amsterdam on Monday via BA, minus luggage, which I duly filled out a claim for...
Spent a fair bit of time on the phone to the missing luggage line yesterday, and was assured several times that the luggage had arrived in amsterdam and would arrive that night to my hotel - was a bit concerned that although they had told me the delivery company would contact me, nothing happened.
Of course, luggage didn't arrive yesterday: on the phone this morning they are telling me the file was closed, they don't know why, and that they need to wait for "Amsterdam airport" to contact me to arrange delivery - something they seem unwilling to do!
They told me there is no way either themselves or me can contact these mysterious "Amsterdam airport" people - just by sending a system message and waiting to see if they get a response...
So, any suggestions? Is there anyone at BA who knows who to speak to?
