very nice hotel, plat upgrade to executive suite without asking, very modern. Huge executive lounge, only non-alcohol, wine, and Peruvian beer are complimentary during happy hour, not spirits. But the food spread was quite good. breakfast in the lounge, not in the lobby. Only problem we had was wifi in the room was bad signal, had to stand next to the door.

About 10-15 soles to Miraflores, also some shops and restaurants are just down the street in what appeared to be a safe neighborhood. We did not have any problem with taxis that the hotel would get for us, just keep in mind there are a lot of crappy taxis in Lima, which is kind of indicative of the city itself. We did get a crappy taxi from a restaurant valet, but the driver was nice and it was a short trip during the daytime.
